Our Volunteers !
The Up With Downs Team is a completely non-profit organization. All of our
fund raisers, donations, sales, etc. go directly to improving the quality of life for our friends with Downs.
Here are some of our volunteers.
Dr Weldon is a Neurologist in Jackson, Mississippi. He is on staff at the University of Mississippi Medical School,
and in private practice at Central Mississippi Med Center. He is also one of our coaches, and a proud Downs Daddy.

Thomas Cullom, MD, Neurosurgery
Dr. Cullom joined the Up With Downs Team to train for, and compete in his first Marathon. He is in private practice
at Central Mississippi Medical Center and a proud supporter of our events and fund raising.

Monty Montgomery, CPA
is the CPA and financial guru behind the Up With Downs Team. He helps with
all things related to taxes, documents, paperwork, and manages our Federal 501(c)3 tax exempt status.

The Up With Downs Team recently donated this way cool 6-Seat stroller to the Little Light House! Patrick, Maureen and Linda are all smiles!
Our Goals !
1) Fund a class at the Little Light House School for one year.
Needed: $140,000 per year
2) Cover all out of pocket expenses for Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy
for every child with Downs in our area.
3) Assist our local Down Syndrome Society to provide information, materials, and support to every
family in our area with Downs.

The Little Lighthouse School provides education, physical therapy, speech therapy and early intervention to all kinds
of special needs children. They are tuition free, and completely dependent on charitable donations.
